There are some apps or services that are absolute gold, yet few people have heard of them, let alone used them. It is really a shame because sometimes these lesser-known apps can be better than the mainstream options, but for a myriad of reasons, some get left behind. Here are some that deserve more.
(1) Capacities FREE and up — The king of kings, in lesser-known apps I use every day anyway. A fantastic alternative to Notion that does things differently.
Don’t just come into Capacities thinking it is all the same and you can operate exactly as you do in Notion because you can’t. If you do, you will likely abandon it for weeks at a time, like I used to do.
Databases, daily notes, tags, structure, and backlinking are all here if you want them, and with ongoing development and a tonne in the pipeline, it’s one to watch.
