7 Apps I Added in 2022 and 3 I’m Thinking About

We are over half way through the year and after trying many, many new apps and services so far this year, here are seven that have stuck around.

(1) Tot (Pocket) — This quick note app is somehow free on Mac but £17.99 on iOS. I do love a good buy-it-once app, but this still raises an eyebrow. But anyone who has tested and taken the plunge with Tot will tell you it is worth the one time cost. Simple note taking that is somehow better by its limitations. It is the same kind of feeling I get from using Things 3. Yes, you have some more functionality in other to-do apps like TickTick and Todoist, but sometimes it just works better. Give it a try on a Mac and you may just be converted. I now have this constantly open along with Things 3, so I can always access and see it with minimal effort.

(2) Deezer — My current, and favourite for now, music streaming service. Flow is the best part and does it better than competitors. The UI is nice and has audio controls to customise the sound, even with the higher sound quality.

(3) Pocketcasts — My favourite way of consuming podcasts. I switched from Spotify’s terrible podcast UI to testing pretty much anything…
