7 Purchases That Were Surprisingly Worth the Money and 3 I’m Still Thinking About

Everyone recommends everything now. Opinions either seem to be a 0/10 or a 10/10 or even sponsored. So it’s difficult to know what will truly work for you, and this can often lead to surprises.

For me, I just generally have to try and test things. Sometimes that is easy and sometimes not but here are a few things that made it past security and surprised me.

(1) Things 3 £80—This is consistently my favourite to-do and task management app. £10 for the iPhone app, £20 for the iPad app, and £50 for the Mac app. It is very rarely on sale, but for £80 I would consider it well worth the money. It is strange that I am saying that, but a subscription to some of Things 3’s competitors can cost more than that after just 2 yearly subscriptions (Todoist). I waited a long time and tested the app multiple times before finally purchasing it, but I can not think of anything that improves my productivity life and gets more daily use than this simple app.

(2) IKEA LINNMON/ADILS small table £35 — Cheap as chips, customizable colors, sturdy enough but light enough to throw around and put away if needed. I now own four in various combinations. Don’t get me wrong, these are just simple desks, but I frequently…
