7 Time-Limited Subscriptions I Added in 2022

A time-limited subscription. Oh yes; something I love to have.

This is something where you managed to bank a 3, 6, or even 12-month subscription for something that will not auto-renew or that you have set to cancel immediately. Effectively, you are paying up-front for a large discount. Therefore, you will never have to worry about it renewing without your knowledge. I effectively think of these as time-limited paid trials that only if I really love them will I actually choose to renew. Otherwise, it is like you are simply renting that service for a limited time.

So let us take a look at the 7 that I added in 2022 that will definitely expire by 2023.

  1. Disney+ £20–27 for 12 months— You can frequently find deals for 12 months for this. I think that I over-paid if anything at around £25 for 12 months, but this still makes it just £2.09 per month and if I just blast through the entire Star Wars catalogue of movies and TV series for that, then I think I will have received great value.
  2. New York Times digital £24.99 for 12 months—A great source of paid news, much of it narrated. It is very reliable and balanced, with a good app. You also get the standard NYT puzzles, which are always nice for those who love them.
