7 Ways to Customize Your Tech Life

What on earth does that mean? Well, I consider it anything that I do that I would estimate 90% of people don’t. The same as customising anything else, the choices you make compound and become yours.

Here are some of mine.

(1) Dark mode everywhere I can — Including my eyes. Yes, seriously. You should be protecting your eyes most of the time you are outside when it is not overcast. Look after them, and keep a pair of sunglasses with you if you can. But as for electronics, I enable the dark mode everywhere that it is offered. Devices, browsers, and websites (except in the case where it is a dark mode forced on something that is not designed for it). That is what leads to more headaches than benefits.

(2) Bookmarks bar with no labels — How people don’t know you can do this, I don’t know. Show the bookmark bar or favourite bar on your browser. Put your main bookmarks, including folders on this and delete or edit out the names. It is that simple and you will quickly learn which icon is which bookmark.
