There are some sites that I just go to as a habit. I’m not saying that this is a good thing, but here are 7 that I think are definitely worthy of that habit and 3 that while I may have an account for, I never actually visit.
(1) Inoreader — This is a new one, as in the past week or so. It is one of those services that I have tried briefly on and off, but you really get the most out of it by giving it a good go. Take your time, learn how it works, add your feeds and sites, and perhaps try the paid trial to test out more advanced features. The more you use it, the more you will see the benefits.
(2) Reddit —I have been a very long-term user of Reddit. It has changed, and I largely think it is much better for you than other social sites. Curate it your way with subscriptions, for goodness sake use Reddit Enhancement Suite in the browser and switch it to Reddit.old for the best experience. Just try not to get lost in it. Having said that, you can add this to Inoreader above, be it in general or by specific subreddit. But just be warned that being a social site, interactions can be fraught, so perhaps do as I do and don’t take part unless you really have to.
