The most (personally) useful tag I have
Yes, I know this sounds boring already but its use may help you.
I love to knock out my to do list. Checking things off, getting stuff done, progressing on projects.
I take great satisfaction in adding things, organizing and, most importantly, getting rid of them. The nicest please for me is a clear Today screen. That really is a comfortable place.
However, as the day wears on, and my sense of accomplishment fades, I start to think what now?
This is where my Don’t Forget tag comes in.
I used to have a separate project or folder for things like this and I would end up duplicating some things across my to do list just to have them in both places but obviously this is ridiculous and I don’t know why it took me so long to simply use a tag. I use them for other things.
So what do I actually use it for?
Books, games, apps to try, film, TV programs and even some key values I want to remember. That is what I mean. It is all too easy to add things to watch lists, buy and then put on a shelf or, even easier, buy and leave in a digital library only to forget to even try them. This stops me from forgetting.
When my tasks for the day are complete, I will search using this tag and leave my app, Mac view, and phone’s widget view on Oboete which is simply the romanji spelling of Don’t Forget in Japanese (no need to know why).
