My 7 Most Important Subscriptions and 3 That Just Miss Out

I don’t really like subscriptions, but sometimes they can just fix a problem that I didn’t know I had.

I mean that.

Subscriptions can fix a problem and come with the hope of future improvements and possibilities. They come with convenience and one of my favourite phrases, “cloud sync”.

Remember what it was like before cloud sync? Isn’t it horrifying when you come across it every now and then?

But seriously, ongoing development, server, and sync costs are pretty much always included, along with a multitude of other features. But what are the most important subscriptions that I currently use?

(1) Netflix — I hear the boos already as the tide is turning, but I still think it is great value and here in the UK, I get it for just £5 added to my Sky TV subscription (and no, I am not including what I consider household expenses like Sky on this list). But even at the full price, I still think I get amazing value from this service.

(2) YouTube Premium —I value my time and I value not having to watch advertisements. At the very least, having that option allows you to choose. YouTube Music is not my favourite, but it is nice to have it bundled.
