The One Thing That Made Me Sleep 100% Better

I am a bad sleeper. I have struggled in the past terribly, and the mainstream tips didn’t work for me until a lesser-known suggestion finally worked.

I present to you the humble weighted blanket.

The weighted blanket has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its ability to provide relief from anxiety, stress, and insomnia. For me, this has worked like a charm.

Using a weighted blanket is a bizarre feeling until you get used to it. You will feel almost pinned down to the bed and have to make an effort to even roll over. But for me, this has helped brilliantly, and I literally find myself tossing and turning less and waking up far less during the night.

After only a few nights of using the weighted blanket, I was sleeping better and feeling more rested in the morning.

Pros

  1. Reasonable cost.
  2. No ongoing costs such as electricity.
  3. Easy to store.
  4. Takes up no more space on your bed.
  5. Relief from anxiety, stress and insomnia is common.

Cons

  1. Initial cost between $20 and $40.
  2. Not ideal if sharing a bed, although you could just cover one side of the bed only.

Apart from removing the source of severe daily stress, this has been my most successful cure for insomnia.

So, there we have it.

The one thing that improved my sleep more than anything I have ever tried.
